setting up a group for text's

Can I setup a group to send Texts to? I am the coach of a soccer team and would like to send out one text to the entire team but I am not sure if and how this can be done.

create the group in your google contacts. you should see the groups when you select who to send the text message to in the messaging app, or a group tab in handcent. There might be a verizon limit of 10 txt message recipients at a time though.
