service issues after dropped in toilet :(

Yesterday morning my droid x2 fell in the toilet! I grabbed it right out and wasnt in there for more than a second!
but as i grabbed it out i took the battery out immediately and sat it in rice for about 8 hours and kept it off for about a day and a half!
The water sensory thing that it has on the battery is still clear aka no water touched the battery.

so when i turned it on about a hour ago, everything works fine but it doesnt keep service
any one else have this problem or know how to fix it?

Uh oh, you poogled your phone. It may not be 100% dry. Usually it is best to leave it to dry two days or more because even the smallest amount of water in the wrong place could cause it to short circuit.

I don't think its water. :icon_eek:

When folks talk about dropping something into the toilet, its not usually a phone. That's my biggest fear. but I see where you stand on that poll weeks ago about do you or don'tyou on the toilet.

Take the battery out NOW and put the device back in the rice. Leave it there at least another day.

And please don't eat the rice

Yeah, I think you should. It's become my favorite word. Instead of saying da#* or sh@/, I just say, "Ahh poogled!"
