Yes, but I find all sigs annoying. So I am not the best person to ask. Probably an effect of coming from two forums that do not allow sigs.
Yeah not a fan of those either. Sent from my iPad/HTC Smartphone/etc...just seems tacky to me

I think everyone should be able to have a level of uniqueness to themselves here and what better way to express that, than in a Signature.
The forum has guidlines that do not allow Overly Large, Offensive, or Intrusive Signatures to be displayed...so we can have fun with it, a small taste of who we are as people and what our style might be like is alright with me

I think part of it originated also on Blackberry e-mails. Basically, the point of it for some is just so you know they are responding from a phone device for some things.
What's really funny is that before all that, people expected 'fast responses' from people when they see they get the message or sometimes had people going, "But you just sent me an e-mail, how can you NOT be at your computer."
Have you ever tried typing a fast, long response on a Blackberry keyboard? Hell, even on today's phones. Most of the tiny keyboards are still a bit difficult to type a fast response in comparison to a normal 104 keyboard, since you do have things crammed in for the numbers and the special characters, not to mention having to adjust to certain spell checkers and fighting with Shift, shift-lock shift off methods.
