Sending Ring tones MMS

When I was with altell ..I could send ring tones by txt on my bb..now that I have this wonderfull droid it seems that I can only send them by bluetooth and email...the few I have sent by bluetooth arrive at the other peeps phone ussaly say format not supported ...even though I save them as mp3

I played around a little with astro but it didnt change anything ... I heard this was a verz thing ... anyone know different ?

Yeah, I also had few such problems at initial basis, but it's alright now. The other option is also good.
