me too, i have the same problem

Here's what I did to fix. Downloaded the latest nightly, factory reset (In safe-boot of course), clear dalvik, installed the ROM then installed danifunk's fix then boot.

3G and MMS APNs where there automatically and data was working for me on China Unicom. I switched to the latest CM9 nightly shortly after due to AOKP's lack of camera support, and followed basically the same process and got that working too. Battery life seems kind of rubbish though. But so far everything seems to be working.

Is there another way to see what is working right now with CM9, CM10 and AOKP for Droid 3?
Camera should work with AOKP, right? Mine isn't. :-(

Nevertheless, great work! Hashcode, you and all the other developers are doing way better than Motorola!

I'm having trouble with Data. I am unable to manually add APNs. It gives me the option of adding them but as soon as I save, they disappear.

Go to Play Store and install HiApn app.
Run it, and reboot.
It is working now for me in Movistar Uruguay in Edge.
Now I am looking another trick to get 3G.
