if you set it to .5 sec, then yes, it will use up all of your CPU usage as this program polls the CPU since from what I have seen, your CPU does not push out the info of what it is actually doing.
Interesting, what do you have your seePU interval set at 1sec? how bout juice defender. I'll going to try this out. Not sure if SeePU is completely necessary but still it's interesting to see on the notification bar.
I just downloaded them both (SeePu and Juicedefender)
They both seem pretty helpful, not so much SeePu, as it only lets you see the CPU usage, but it's still good information to know.

Yeah, I have both too. For me, SeePU is handy when it's taking a while for something to happen. If I look and see red on SeePu I know it'll be a while.
