Seeing Picture Text messages. Fade too quick

I have a droid 2 and when someone sends me a pic via sms and I open it up it only shows it for 2 seconds and then fades out...looks like its on a timer. Any way to change this?

I have a Droid and I use Handcent. If I receive a photo with a message it remains in the thread. So, if you've checked the app settings and can not find anything try Handcent

I tried that handcent. It did the same thing... just with a nicer looking background

It must be a setting that neither one of us can locate. I do not recall changing anything on mine. I wonder if the Droid 2 handles pictures in messages differently.
