Securing phone when connecting to a computer

So I just realized this (pathetically) but someone can simply plug my phone into their computer and have access to all my files specifically pictures. Is there any way to put some sort of password to gain access to my files when you plug it into a computer?

Pattern/password lock the phone.

THOUGH, technically they could just remove the SD card, and do it from there. You could try encrypting the SD card.

my phone always says , connected with USB .i though it was a security feature, I guess It is not

Yea I already have a pin lock for the actual phone but you can easily bypass t if you simply plug the phone into a computer. How difficult is it to encrypt something?
