SD card unwriteable after CWMR install

freshly rooted, CwM Voodoo Lagfix Recovery v2.5.1.x installed

when i try to copy a rom to flash to sd card after mounting usb storage i get a error on my windows 7 computer stating files cannot be written to sd card.

what can i do to make it writeable?!?!

Suggested to uninstall CwM Voodoo Lagfix Recovery and then try to do the same. If not get success then the card is faulty. check the card on other system as well.
