SD Card to Internal storage

Do i have to be rooted to transfer files from sd card to internal storage? I have a lot more internal space than i have left on my sd card.

Yes you have to root the device, and there's no easy way to use internal storage anyway.

You don't need to be rooted if the app lets you move to phone under settings/apps/manage apps.

Thanks for the replies. Files not applications (mp3 & video). I'll tough it out until december when I'm due for an upgrade.
