SD Card Question coming from D1 to DX

I just bought a DX to hold me over until some of the bigger dual core phones start dropping. Both my D1 and new DX have 16gb microSD cards. Can I just use the SD in my D1 in the DX without having to format? AKA, just take the SD right out of my D1 and plug it into the DX and be good to go? I know the SD cards aren't phone specific but I didn't know if there would be any compatibility issues.

I would back up everything onto a computer first, some times it will corrupt data when you do that. You should be able too though.

+1 back it up first and put it in the X. I've had my Orignial Droids SD card in two Droid 2.
