I just activated a Note 3 and took installed a 64gb sd card in it, I moved everything over from my gs4's 16gb card to this, but when I accessed the music I see that it created folders for the albums but only transferred maybe a song or two off the album if that at all, most were just empty folders, all my pictures transferred just fine. So I open up the file system on windows explorer and try and delete some of the songs and it tells me that I can't delete it because it is locked or protected, I formatted the card right before I installed it, just curious if this is the sd card or Android messing with me, any ideas how to fix this without formatting this (again)

Did you resolve it?..if not I'd try to move music from PC to new sd card after formatting again ...keep us posted

I had similar problems with my 64gb card. When I put it in my computer all the files were there but in my phone many of my music file were missing. I copied every thing to my computer. Copied all the my 32gb card and it was shiny.

FOrmat it and then try that or what? I formatted it inside the phone last time, is there a way to tell if it's the card or the phone?

Format in the phone, at least that's what I did.

Okay I'll give it a shot here after work. I also have apps crashing a lot more than I did on my S4. Any idea there?

Just formatted the card, gonna throw an album and maybe a book on it to see if they are accessible.

So far music seems to be accessible, still having a few random apps (Family Guy Quest for Stuff, Cover Art downloader, etc) crash randomly like clockwork, I guess that is another thread for somewhere on here? However, the music is accessible. I've been able to pull up a few books and comics too so far, slowly adding everything back to it again.

You can get a SanDisk Ultra 64GB MicroSDXC Class 10 UHS Memory Card Speed Up To 30MB/s With Adapter from Amazon for $35. I have one and have not had any issues.

That is a great deal. I don't want to wait but if you have a link I might snatch that up asap
