SD card has unexpected problem?

It goes into"mounted read only"making it so i cant access anything to do with my sd card.I have tried clearing the cache and did a factory reset to no avail.Any ideas would be greatly appreciated i am running stock if that could have any bearing on the problem.

Factory resets don't necessarily format the SD card. Try formatting it fresh after backing up pertinent files and see what that does.
