Define exactly what you mean by "best".

One way: mount the old device, copy to computer, mount the new device, copy to new card.

just mount your sdcard to your hard drive, copy the sdcard contents onto a folder on your computer, then shut down your phone and replace your sdcard, remount your sdcard to your hard drive, and copy back onto your droid/sdcard
