Whoops. I was wondering if there was a way to take a screenshot with this phone and save it as a photo. Thanks!

My phone is the same as when I got it, I don't know how to hack and haven't done anything to it.

I thought all htc phones had that ability? Try holding the camera or power button and volume down button at the same time.
Maybe even a google search on how to take a screen shot with an htc thunderbolt.

The Rezound was the first HTC phone to have a native screen shot feature.

To the OP, there are apps that let you take a screen shot but you need to use a computer as well. Do a search in the market.

Have never tried this to verify (rooted and running jelly bean anyway so it would be difficult to be a reliable source) but it was once recommended for non-rooted users. Its called Screen Grabber and its on the market.

Here is the link to it: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mindphaze.screengrab&feature=nav_result#?t=W251bGwsMSwxLDMsImNvbS5taW5kcGhhemUuc2NyZWVuZ3JhYiJd

That's the one I used when I had my Dinc 2.

It says not to expect it to work if you don't have root access... Hm.

My bad. I thought that was the one I used. I looked through my list and it was Screenshot UX trial. MX Browser also has a screen shot plug in but you need to be using the MX Browser.
