screen wont come on?

my friend gave me a droid and she said she dropped it in a little bit of water and the screen wont come on. the bottom lights work for home and back and those other 1s and it vibrates when i hit the screen but theres nothing there. any help

There might be some moisture left in it. When did she drop it?

You could try leaving it in a container of rice for a day or 2 and see if it'll boot up again.

uhm idk shes had the phone awhile now but ill try it

I'd take it back for a replacement. Insurance?
