Screen Issues

So what is the best way to fix a screen?
Send it in or diy?
is it worth changing the battery since it will be disassembled?

DIY I have done two screens. Buy it off of eBay and get a screen that comes with the tools. They are special sizes not available in micro screwdriver sets. Look for a YouTube video with instructions and pause it at each step. Also have a couple bowls ready to store each of the different size super small screws.

I would leave the battery if I was you. You can always replace it later on.
