Screen Blacked Out

My screen went blank tonight. The light flashes at the top and the home button and others light up, but nothing on the screen to see. It still reacts, though - i ran my finger across like I was unlocking it and it vibrated. I have had it less than a month. I have pulled the battery multiple times to no avail. Anything else I should try before I take it into Verizon tomorrow? Will they give me a hard time when swapping it out?

I say just take it back, first try booting in safe mode tho, there is a how to on that in the FAQ section

also try booting in recovery, hold x when you power up and then pres the volume up button and camera at same time, see if that does anything
