My Droid X crashed, as it has been doing. It looked like it was going to reboot itself, as it has been doing. However, instead of the red eyeball thing, I got a triangle with an exclamation point in it and a droid to the right of that. Anybody out there know what that is? I took my battery out and it is back to its normal finicky self again, but I'm a little concerned.

that is just the stock recovery. not a huge deal, however if you keep having stability issues (crashing as you put it) it would be wise to do a factory reset.

you can hold the home and power button to force it into the stock recovery, then hit the search button, and use the volume up/down to scroll the menu down to wipe data/factory reset (or something like that) and use the camera button to select it. this will however, delete all your apps, and contacts and what not...but they should all re-sync when you sign in again. you will just have to set up your home screen again.

Settings / sd card / Format.

This will erase your sd card. Anything stored on it is gone.
