Scanning pictures for text

I looked all over and I couldn't find an app that did this. Basically I'm looking for something that scans a picture for words, then copies those words so you can paste them into a text editor on the droid. Anyone interested in making something like that?

Try using OCR (optical character recognition) as a keyword. Here's one I quickly found but the reviews aren't exactly stellar:
