Saving emails ?

With a pop email, (currently using k-9 app) is it possible to save emails somewhere?

I've been using K-9 for months and months and the only way I've found to save an email on the phone is to forward it to my Gmail account using the native Gmail app. Emails will stay on that program until you delete them off the phone.

The other thing I do is to never clear my trash file and emails will remain there at least until I load a new rom.

That is what I've been doing (sending to gmail) just was hoping I was missing some way of saving them.
