Multiple email notifications (gmail is disabled too)

Whenever I get an email k-9 tells me I have 5 new emails, and it says 'droid' twice, this is quite aggravating... and i cant find out why. Gmail is disabled and does not give me any notification. it is just k-9 telling me this, and i dont even have 5 emails in my inbox.

Do you have any other e-mail app or notifiers? I have gmail notifier, and will get a double droid sound with two gmail icons at the top if I don't disable either gmail or this app.

nope, all notifications are turned off except for k-9, and when i get an email it just shows i have 5 new emails, just the one notification from k-9, but it always thinks i have 5
