Sapphire 2.0.0 release is almost here...

Crap, tried too many things at once ... GB KB, new market, etc.

Temporarily going back to my nandroid of 1.1.1/

NOT an issue witht eh 2.0 ROM, I'm just too tired to screw with it tonight, tomorrow after a good night's sleep.

Plus you guys in other time zones can se if you have issues.

I'll need, a good new market to install, GB KB (which I believe was working, but because the market was not, I retried flashing the saph gapps and that is when my KB started FC'ing on boot)

I'm also planning on going to the 800 LV kernal, but have to look on my other system to see if that is what I was running on 1.1.1

Argh, I'm bummin, however I also realize I hate the stock white notif bar ... y u k :)

someone port over 1.1.1 black bar and make our lives even more worthwhile, right Bgill55? :)

I am removing this until there are themes. Runs fantastic but seems very vanilla to me. It would have been nice if black bar was included stock, could message from search button, had new market, and didn't use stock launcher.

you can add any launcher you want...the point is to have a clean rom installed that you can tweak along the way...themes will be coming...i know bgill55 is porting his themes to obsidian (which means they'll work for all the GEM builds)
 
Skull, I was asking the other guy a question... I can't receive and texts with pics or video....???
 
Wow ... just a tad too much black for my taste. I suppose I like the vanilla android with black bar, ADW changes the look of the phone enough for me, plus the messaging blacked out is enough hehehe, but very nice job!

Reinstalled 2.0, gapps this morning, fonts, ringtone.
all my stuff synched up both paid and free.

Made backup and thought I'd try black bar 1.1.1, of course - boot loop, likely because it has wrong framework :)

Going to now try the Gb keyboard, and then get a new market, if anyone has it that worked for them let me know.

***Anyone have the blacked out stock messaging app ? *** I can't find mine. UPDATE: NM, grabbed mms.apk from my backup ...

One other point - car home - didnt install, I don't believe it was removed from our saph gapps. I renamed the app in system, rebooted and was able to install after that, similar to when that update came out a while ago.

More as I move along ...

UPDATE: Well, I have everything back to how I like it on 2.0, have yet to install the new market. fpr those interested, I still hate the white bar, but until black bar is ported to 2.0 I can live with it by using ADW to hide it :)

Fairly painless, now I can relax and grab the market soon. Kudos again cvpcs! I hope the batt drain issues you are battling are over quickly, for all of us think you should take an hour off then turn to porting GB (Just kiddin ... forget the hour off :) )

UPDATE #2: I had several people txt me pics, etc. Working ok here. I got the new market installed as well.
 
Hey RW-1

I'm trying to get my blacked out messaging going again, I backed up my previous version of Sapphire but I'm not sure what to do from there. Also, I've tried everything to get the new market installed again (renamed,changed to zip, install from recovery and also tried moving to system/apps) nothing seems to work. If you or someone can help me with these two problems that would be awesome. Thanks!
 
I can't get the new market to install. I simply get a message Application Not Installed. I had it working on the prior sapphire. Any suggestions? Also does someone have a link for a working GB keyboard?

Other than that it's working good. I have the battery issue others have mentioned. It literally went from 60% to 20% in the blink of an eye.
