I'll have to watch this when I get home tonight...too busy at work this week. I'm still trying to wrap my head around the whole "writing while the screen is off" thing. Sounds like a really cool feature as long as you have neat penmanship and you're not writing a whole paragraph.

Basically, black screen, white words. Assuming it only lights up the pixels where you're writing, though the demos I've seen so far do show the task bar light up as well.

I don't get the point. To take a short note? OK where does it go after you type it?
Isn't there an app for that anyway? Like Keep or some Sammy app?

That Sammy app is called S Note & I'd assume a quick note like this would go there like action memos currently do.

Additionally, you can pin the action memo on a home screen.
I have found that to be extremely useful. I use it just like a Post It
