Samsung S3 Camera Issue - Pink and Horizontal Lines

Hi, just started to have a problem with the regular camera on my phone. Camera showa pink horizontal lines when taking a photo at night or in the dark. Front facing camera still works fine. See image below for an example of the issue.

I hate to say it but after doing some googling of the issue, it looks like it could be a hardware problem... Have you tried a reset or anything yet?

This exact same thing is happening to my S3 as well. I've been looking for a fix for quite some time now but come up empty. I've played with the developer options and even did a factory reset and still no luck. It's been very difficult to find any info on this at all.
