Samsung is hosting an event tomorrow June 2nd at 5PM in New York City. The invite does not provide a hint as to what will be announced, but the Gear Fit 2 and IconX wireless earbuds are more likely than the Galaxy Note 7.

The Gear Fit 2 is taking a huge leap forward over the previous model. Tizen based instead of propriety, double the claimed battery life of the original ( and I got more than the claimed original battery life) built in music player, built in GPS and finally the wow factor of the originals screen for more than just wallpaper. I like that they are keeping the home button on the side vs the phone look of the S1 while enlarging the screen for easier use as a phone butler and not just a fitness tracker. Another plus is no longer does it only work with Samsung phones.
At $180 retail it's also going to release at a lower price than the original did.
