Samsung Galaxy Round? The first Curved Display Smartphone

Around 18 hours ago BBC posted that the very first curved LCD screen smartphone is finally out in the market and is known as Galaxy Round. It posses 5.7" of LCD screen (same as of Note 3). Does anyone else know anything else about it?

Looks gimicky. I don't see any practical advantage to a phone that rolls.

The Galaxy Nexus was the first to be curved I thought. The Round is the first to be curved that way though.

Thinking it's comfier to hold and navigate with one hand.

Well Curve LCD screen allows it to be more reliable, as it is flexible therefore it won't get broken down that easy.

the LCD may be curved, but there's a sheet of glass covering it, so it's still susceptible to breaks like any flat phone.

Well that's not the case, actually it comprises of Super Flexible AMOLED capacitive touchscreen, which means that upper glass is also curved and is flexible. I didn't said that it can't be broken down, i mean that it is hard to be broken as compared to the flat screen phone, as they are rigid in nature.
