I might go with otterbox defender and spigen case and maybe a a glass screen protector ,too
Yep all 3. Otterbox for work, Spigen for out and about, and of course the screen protector.

I did get the Otterbox Defender for my Note 5. I recently Popped out the Builtin Screen Protector and replaced it with the Zagg HD Glass. Much nicer since it is always touching. That was always a drawback to builtin screen protectors.

Same here, except the next time I removed the phone from the otterbox the adhesive pulled off the top 1/4" of the glass screen protector. Wow, that's some sticky stuff.

As with my last 3 phones I went with a Seidio case with the metal kickstand, no holster just the case. Always gave great protection and isn't bulky.

It's my always go to case. Great protection, not bulky, plus for me any way, a easy to insert and secure holster.

I removed the adhesive after removing the screen so i didnt have any issues with the case sticking to the Glass Shield.

Wish I had, good job!

I finished the removing the rest of the adhesive last night I cleaned all of that stuff off with acetone and Vaseline. Even then I had to scrape some of it off with a fine bladed knife. Damn I'm impressed very tough film very sticky.

Thanks. I only had the Otterbox about a week. So I'm thinking it didnt get hot enough to really adhere like on ones that have been on it for a while. It came off almost like double-sided tape except for 1 tiny 1/8" spot i got off with my fingernail.

My holster, the case snaps in and comes out easily.

Bought this Dilex Pro from Sedio ...

Fit is fantastic. Only issue is the magnet on the flip out stand. Causes a skip in the sPen in the lower screen.

Ended up returning the top one, added almost a half inch to the width of the phone. Using the bottom one now and I love it. Easily recommended for $10.99.

I'm needing something other than this cheap incipio case, that ironically cost as much and protect less.
