A buddy of mine has a Samsung captivate that he wanted rooted. Being the android lover I am I accepted his request as I am a proud owner of the Droid one and have rooted my phone every possible way I could find. I got the captivate rooted the he wanted a custom rom. He found a FASCINATE rom and installed it. Now it wont do much. I can still access recovery mode. After a full boot up it gives numerous force close errors that keep coming. Now my question is.......if I can find a CAPTIVATE rom and put it on his sdcard would it be possible to install the new rom? Fyi I know very little about this phone and the acronyms associated with this phone. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
