Safestrap 2.x vs 3.x?

Ok, so I installed Safestrap 3.0.5 at one point, not realizing that it had a different base than 2.11. I panicked because I couldn't restore my backed up rom so I switched back to 2.11 before I had a chance to try 3.

Is 3.x faster than 2.x? At this point, I don't have a need to flash multiple roms.

Are there any other advantages of having the latest version?

I nevr noticed a speed difference.

I've noticed it being faster as well, switching between ROMs and backing up and restoring are significantly faster. If I remember right, I thought hashcode tweeted the newer JB ROMs will only run on the newer versions of safestrap (but don't quote me on that).

Just install the newest version, you'll want to try out the new roms that are coming out.
