Safe settings to overclock droid x

Can anyone help me? I have a droid x and I have rooted it...I wanted to overclock it just a little. I downloaded setcpu aand milestone overclocker. Currently I have it over clocked at 1150 and 300 is this safe? I hair clocked at1300 and 800 before but my battery shot down super fast...help thanks

Overclocking always varies by individual device. There's no one-size-fits-all setting for a given Android device. Google "binning" and processor manufacture if you really want the details.
