If there is a way to break something consumers will find it whether by accident or on purpose and will blame the manufacturer for their own stupidity! We saw this with the whole backwards S-Pen on the Note 5. In that case Samsung knew that sticking the pen in backwards would break the phone, but they didn't take action to save consumers from themselves other than burying instructions not to do this inside the manual which no one reads.
It seems pretty self explanatory that charging a wet phone could cause some major damage, but we have already found that some consumers would never think that such behavior could damage their phone. Some Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge users have reported that they are getting the message, "Moisture detected in charging port". When your phone is wet the usb port is disabled to keep the phone from short circuiting. One users reported that he lost all fast charging capabilities after trying to charge his wet device. Let this serve as a reminder not to charge your wet S7.
