S5 video noisy with b-tooth headsets

I have two S5's, they both have the same problem. I'm trying to find a Bluetooth headset that work with apps like Skype and Messenger and Marco Polo, as well as regular phone calls. I have tried several different headsets including some expensive ones. On all of them the phone call audio is very clear, with minimal background noise. On any type of video call or video message, however, there is a lot of background noise. I spoke with a manufacturer support person for one of the headsets and he said it sounds like the microphones on the smartphone are enabled and picking up noise while I am recording audio through the Bluetooth headset. Any ideas? Is there an app I can use that will disable the microphones on the S5 while I am speaking through a headset?
