S3 hide timestamp in messaging

Hi there. I am looking for a way to hidethe timestanp in the default droid os on a galaxy s3 due to visual impairment I have a large font and the timestamp takes up a large part of my screen so iid like to hide it

Couldn't get it are you talking about the clock which appear over the top or ... ??

I don't know of a way to disable that with the stock app... Could try to download another messaging app... Although it sounds like you don't want to do that.
