Late last night rumors started swirling around the internet that OnePlus was already working to bring out the OnePlus Two. This is despite the fact that they still aren't even shipping any of the OnePlus One right now. Supposedly, this second generation OnePlus Two device was codenamed, "Lettuce."

Shortly after this news hit the web, it was debunked by the OnePlus company themselves. They flatly responded,

We're just working on the OnePlus One for 2014. Thanks!

It doesn't get much more straightforward than that. Plus, it hardly seems likely that the company would risk alienating even more potential customers by pushing out a second device before they have even been able to mass produce the first one.

Despite engineering a solid product, how does this company expect to stay afloat if it can't even make more than a small smattering of smartphones to satiate the shoppers?

This company is the poster-child for "not delivering". The One Plus One is virturally non-existent and they are on the verge of releasing a product after the party is over and everyone has already left with a date.

This reminds me of jh audio.. And their roxxanne 12 driver ciem's. People plopped down 1.5k only to wait... And wait.. And wait... And wait... That seriously had to hurt business for them.. Never a good business model..

There's something to be said about sticking with a big name when it comes to electronics. That said, we have a member on the S3 forums who's had a OnePlus One for a couple days now and swears it's the best Android device he's ever owned. Only time will tell if this company can pull itself up by it's bootstraps and get back in the game or will go completely belly up. History is riddled with new companies that started out with a few stumbles but powered through to go on to great success. I for one hope they succeed....we could use a new player to fuel the Android competition.
