Not too many U.S. carriers tend to get Sony smartphones, but they are still very popular overseas in Europe and Asia. Over the past several weeks there have been a number of rumors regarding Sony's next flagship smartphone, known as the Xperia D6503 'Sirius.' Today we will be sharing a "round-up" of what has been gathered from that intel. Here's a quick breakdown of what we have so far.
  • First, there have been a number of leaked pics of the device, including its UI enhancements. We can't include all of them here, but we have chosen a couple for you to check out. Feel free to check out the source link below for more.
  • Dual Speakers - perhaps stereo (although not front-facing like the HTC One - these are positioned at the top and bottom of the device).
  • Thinner bezel design
  • Possibly a 5.2-inch display - possibly 1440x2560 pixels QHD, but more than likely will just be Full HD 1080p.
  • Qualcomm's MSM8974AB SoC CPU (a faster variant of the Snapdragon 800)
  • 3 GB RAM club
  • 16GB or 32GB - possibly a microSD slot
  • Android 4.4.2 KitKat
  • New UI Overlay called Timescape - with several new and intriguing features shown in pics
  • 4K video recording
  • Glove mode for the screen
  • An extra homescreen for the visually impaired
  • A smart backlight control
  • Notification tabs in the status bar
  • Several new themes, transparencies and full-screen wallpapers
  • Same 20 MP Camera as in the Z1

What do you guys think? Is it about time other U.S. carriers besides AT&T started carrying Sony devices more often?
