Speaking of LG, here's a tidbit we didn't quite get to yesterday afternoon. The LG G Watch has a new rumor attached to it. Supposedly the device will hit retail store shelves in Europe in June for a price of €199. In fact, we aren't even sure we can call this a rumor, because it was supposedly confirmed by LG’s arm in France. At this price, we fully expect it to reflect a similarly comparable price in the U.S., most likely around $199 USD. This would make it aggressively competitive with Samsung's $299 Galaxy Gear 2.
This actually wouldn't be much of a surprise when you think about it. LG has been doing a remarkable job at competing with Samsung by undercutting them on price. Could this be the first smartwatch to really push the burgeoning wearables market?
