It has not been confirmed whether these pics are real or faked, but they definitely are 'official-looking' even if they turn out to be unreal. Apparently this is a leaked picture of a rumored white version of the SGS2 and may be available in Europe first. In fact, here's a quote from the Engadget article with the details of the rumor,
The leaked snap is certainly timely, coming in only one day after a UK retailer promised the colorless beast would go on sale August 15th.
What do you guys think of this pearly looking SGS2? Would you be excited to see this come to the states too, and if so, would you be excited enough to wait for it, even if the black version became available first?

Did the white version of the Galaxy S ever make it's way into the U.S.? I don't remember ever seeing it. I hope the white GS2 becomes available on Verizon's network. I'd kill for that sexy white phone.

Watch out for an Apple lawsuit.

Why? Does apple have a copyright for the color white now too?

I like the black better IMO. Can't wait for it to come out. It will be a great OG Droid replacement.

It was a joke.

May seem like a joke, but apple has already gone after samsung for "copying" their looks. This no doubt will probably bring in another lawsuit

IF anything, it will give apple even more evidence to the court in their current case that Samsung is copying them

Seriously, is Steve Jobs ok? I'd imagine he blew a coronary when he saw that.

What would be funny is if Samsung wins that lawsuit, comes out with the white phone first, and then sues Apple for copying them with the white IPhone!

By the way, I think one button is really, really, really stupid. I'm smart enough to use 3 or 4 and it really makes navigation and other tasks much easier.

Completely uninterested in this. The single button and probable lack of 4g is a deal breaker for me. Even if it had 4g, I refuse to be stuck with something so limited as a single button.
