Some rumors over at BGR indicate one of HTC's first Ice Cream Sandwich phones may be revealed at the next Mobile World Congress. It seems like we just got done with the MWC for this year, and now it is almost next year already. At any rate, the closer it gets to next year, the more we will start seeing glimpses of future phones, and this one looks pretty decent. The HTC Ville may have the following specs:
  • Android 4.0/ICS
  • SenseUI 4.0 (that's not a typo)
  • 4.3-inch qHD Super AMOLED display
  • 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon Series 4 processor
  • 8-megapixel backside-illuminated camera with 1080p HD video
  • Less than 8mm thick, with metal construction
  • HSPA+ device
  • 1,650 mAh battery,
  • Beats audio
According to the rumor, the phone won’t have NFC due to its metal construction. This seems like an intriguing upper mid-range device, especially if you don't care about the NFC. What do you think?

HSPA+?, no love for Verizon. They probably don't want to take the wind out of the Rezound's sails.

This generic HTC photo needs to stop being posted. It doesn't help anyone imagine what the phone might look like. On another note, the specs of this phone sound promising...except the battery of course :/

HTC better hope thats not what it looks like. That is way to iPhone-y, Apple will be all over them.
