There are some rumors in the mobile business world suggesting there may be a power change-up at Motorola once Google takes over. The "rumint" is that Nikesh Arora, Google's SVP and Chief Business Officer, will take over as CEO at Motorola, once the acquisition is finalized. This is the guy that took over the global business role for Google when Eric Schmidt stepped down. Supposedly, he has been "agitating" for a CEO role (whatever that means), and was on a short list of candidates to become the new CEO of Yahoo. This offer was effectively to keep him from defecting to Yahoo.
Of course, this begs the question of what will happen to Sanjay Jha, Moto's current CEO. A great many folks will probably be happy to see him "step down," after the frustrating year with Moto's "strange" customer service and product strategies from last year. Sound off your opinion whether you would like to see this change take place or not.
