Like the title says I finally got the files to return to stock on my D2 but when I went to flash the sbf file to my phone since I didn't back it up it did the whole processing thing and when it got done it said failed. Anyone know why or can anyone help.
1) make sure you use latest Motorola USB drives
2) make sure you have RSDLite 4.9 or newer.
3) when phone is rebooting, when RSDLite is at 99% - press and hold Vol+ and Vol- to force phone into bootloader mode after the reboot. This will cause RSDLite to successfully finish verification
If your phone boots and looks like it is unchanged, despite RSDLite being stuck you are ok. Just boot to stock recovery (power up while holding X, press magnifying glass once you get the recovery triangle sign) and wipe data and cache. You are done SBF-ing
I am having a similar problem, I have a bricked D2G and I am trying to flash the SBF file to it. I have current RSDLite and current Motorola drivers. I boot phone into Bootloader mode (Power button and Vol+/Vol- buttons) It says "Battery OK, OK to Program, Transfer Mode: USB" However RSD lite will not recognize my device.
