Rooting

Trying to figure out what rooting is and if the process is easy enough for me to do and will that alone help my phone perform better....texting issues....freezing up....

Read through the droid 2 global hacks and the droid 2 global roms sections ... Those should give you the answers youre looking for .. also somewhere there is an article called rooted now what? or something like that. Essentially rooting will help with getting rid of that pesky bloatware saving on battery power and when youre comfortable enough with what youre doing you can move onto the custom roms that they have out there for your phone. Hope that helps a little.
