Rooting Woes due to OTA update.

So I had a RAZR M before the most recent OTA update push, rooted, and happy. Then I heard about the update, and decided to possibly go for it. I reinstalled all the default apps and such to prepare it. But then I read that it breaks root, so I held off.

Then I unpleasantly found out that when I left my phone on the table at my father's house, a very unhelpful step mom decided to be helpful and click confirm on that update alert that pops up every 12 hours.

I'm now unrooted and really would appreciate any help on getting rooted again. I never did get around to unlocking the bootloader to install custom roms, I was about to, however.

I hope that I'm not screwed for the time being. I hate all this bloatware and found some really cool custom roms that I'd love to try.

Thank you.

From what I was told in asking basically the same question, unless the boot loader was unlocked we're out of luck for the time being. However there is a post on here in which someone is already working on a way to restore root for unlucky souls such as ourselves lol

ah, okay. darn.

BUT. Good. Someone is working on something. I hope it's as easy as motochopper was.

Thank you! Where is this thread, by the way? Where the person said that someone is working on it.
