Rooting the GB Soak Test

Does anyone know if Z4 will work with the GB soak test?

I am way too scared to try, lol.

no z4 is for froyo, you need the d3 one click root method, google it

only problem with rooting is as of right now no way back. no sbf, no unroot.​

because as of right now there is no sbf to ota gb. you can sbf back to froyo and hope you can get the ota soak again. but i dont think you can. you will have to wait until the official ota gb is out.

I'm pretty sure you can download the soak test update, grab it off the phone with ADB, install it, and in case you reflash the SBF, copy the saved file to the root of the SD card, call it update.zip, and install it via stock recovery.

It works.
