CyanogenMod for the OnePlus One has been a welcomed advancement for those who love root freedom. Many users wish for a day where OEMs and carriers would allow for their devices to be fully unlocked giving you the freedom of choice. While CM has been great on the OnePlus One some of you may have decided you would like to try the new OxygenOS. To your dismay the rom doesn't come prerooted, but no worries there is a pretty simple way to get this rom rooted.
You will first need to be sure your OnePlus One is bootloader unlocked and that you have installed the TWRP as your stock recovery. You will then need to download the proper version of SuperSU which you can grab from the link below. Be sure to download the SuperSU file on your phone so it will be in your Download folder. Boot into recovery mode by pressing Power+VolumeDown keys from powered off state. Once TWRP has booted tap install, navigate to the download folder and choose the SuperSU file you downloaded. Swipe to confirm the flash. Then reboot to enjoy your freshly rooted OxygenOS.
