(rooted)Update problems

I continue to get a notice to update system and when rebooted the install button is clicked and the only option I can select is install update.zip which I do but next week same thing. My IT guy rooted for me so did not get to experience and understand. Also new to forum so if already asked, please forgive. I have a Motorola Droid tia

Let me know if the SBF works. We gave up and did not try SBF.
