There are probably still a hand full of you out there using the Galaxy S5. This phone is less than 2 years old so for many of you it is still a great device. If you are hoping Samsung will release Marshmallow to this device I wouldn't hold my breath. Yes it may eventually come, but this device is not Samsung's priority now that there are several other newer flagships and they are getting ready to drop the Galaxy S7 in the next few months.
If you are a rom user then you already know that rom developers normally release the latest version of Android to devices months earlier than the OEMs. This is the case with the Galaxy S5. The latest update of the VRToxin rom will bring your Galaxy S5 up to Android 6.0 Marshmallow. As an added bonus this Rom is pre-rooted. It should be noted that this is an Alpha release and not all features are functioning. If you have a custom recovery installed on your device head to the link below to grab the download.
