It is, but if he used an outdated or wrong method to root we could have to flash SBF to get it rooted.

i've been trying look for the post that i've read where it says "even if you have the superuser permission your not actually Rooted.."

this can be possible. its just an app that shows u ur permissions.

root apps, themes, ROMs, OCing, etc are all available for the DX - just take ur pick
