Root X using a Mac

I've seen several threads on rooting and I am just about ready to give it a try. However, I haven't found a thread that talks about using a Mac instead of a PC. If there is a simple method that uses a Mac please let me know.

Doesn't the MAC have a terminal emulator that can use ADB like linux?

I probably should have mentioned that though I spend hours upon hours playing with my phone I actually am quite stupid about this rooting stuff. So, I have no idea if my mac has what you are speaking of.:icon_eek:

@Army, yes it does and its how i rooted 2.1, but what i linked to above is a lot simpler.

just type in the commands verbatim and u should be fine and if u do have any questions/problems just ask
