roms & overclocking

i need to know a little more on roms and overclocking. i wanna install some different roms til i get one i like, but kernels and overclocking has got me jaded.

can some give me some sort of an idea of what to look for?

Before you can install/flash a custom rom you need to root your phone. Here is a link

My advice get very familiar with the terms and read several articles on rooting. Then, if you still want to root do so.

There is a rom section in the forum that will help you decide.
